Jonah Slade, LMFT Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Jonah Slade is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings both heart and expertise to his work with adolescents and families. He is passionate about helping young people develop safety, trust, and self-understanding through authentic connection and systemic therapy.

Before joining Foundations Psychiatry, Jonah provided therapy for youth and families impacted by trauma, and gained experience in multiple treatment settings—including residential care, community health, and university-level instruction. He has facilitated group, individual, and family sessions using a variety of modalities, with a strong grounding in Emotion Focused Therapy and DBT principles.

Jonah earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Utah Tech University, where he also taught psychology courses. He is fluent in Portuguese, conversational in Spanish, and brings a multicultural sensitivity to his work.

Jonah believes that growth happens in relationship. He finds deep meaning in walking alongside young people as they navigate the challenges of treatment and rediscover their sense of self-worth, hope, and connection.
