Our Therapist

Adam Hunt, CMHC Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Hello! I’m Adam, a certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Arts from New Mexico State University. I believe that you already hold the answers you’re looking for; my role is simply to provide the supportive space and tools to help you bring them to the surface. Rather than telling you how to think, I meet you exactly where you are, tailoring our sessions to your unique personality and preferences.

I have a heart for working with adults and adolescents navigating life’s many transitions—whether you’re seeking deeper meaning, walking through grief, managing parenting or work stressors, or navigating a faith transition or LGBTQ+ related challenges. I especially enjoy supporting neurodiverse individuals, including those living with ADHD, Autism, and OCD. My approach is warm and collaborative, drawing from therapies like ACT, Logotherapy, CBT, and DBT to best fit your needs.

My path has included four years of meaningful work in community mental health and at an ABA treatment center for autism, where I’ve helped clients manage a wide range of mental health journeys. Outside of the office, I’m usually embracing the joy of being a dad to my four children, finding peace outdoors, or slowly but surely training for my first triathlon
